Sealing Equipment Products Company Inc. (SEPCO) welcomed more than 20 distributors during its annual Fluid Sealing School (November 19 – 21, 2019). Attendees gathered to learn about pump systems and other rotating equipment and how to seal these often difficult-to-seal machines.
An in-depth look at mechanical seals—including application, installation operation, and maintenance—and compression packing selection, installation, and maintenance were two highlights from the event. Experts also presented on these topics:
- Pump system basics
- Lubrication reliability and bearing isolators
- Plastic technology advancements and shaft stabilization with bushings
- Air seal benefits and operation
