Schneider Electric and Applied Instrument Technologies form Alliance

Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and automation, has formed a strategic alliance with Applied Instrument Technologies, Inc. (AIT), a leading provider of process analyzers for online and real-time process analysis in hydrocarbon, chemical, pharmaceutical and steel-making industries. The new partnership extends the capabilities of both companies to provide industry-leading process automation solutions to their respective global customer bases.

The combination of Schneider Electric’s Process Automation portfolio, including its Foxboro Evo™ process automation system, Triconex® safety instrumented systems and global delivery capabilities, together with AIT’s leading portfolio of spectroscopy and chromatography products, particularly its real-time process analyzers, will offer customers more comprehensive process analysis, control and advanced operations management solutions in one integrated automation solution from a single vendor. This partnership promises to simplify the path to improved productivity and operational efficiency for our customers and builds on a strong existing relationship between the two companies.
