Quattroflow ™ Introduces QF1200HT Compact Version Quaternary Diaphragm Pump

Features high turndown ratio and a small footprint

Quattroflow, part of PSG®, a Dover company and a leading brand of positive displacement quaternary diaphragm pumps, is pleased to announce that it has answered the needs of labs that have strict space-use requirements with the release of the QF1200HT (Compact Version) Quaternary (Four-Piston) Diaphragm Pump. Available in both Single- and Multiple-Use variations, the new QF1200HT features a high turndown ratio (200:1) and accuracy in controlling flow rates, which makes it ideal for use in a wide variety of biopharmaceutical applications.

The Quattroflow QF1200HT includes all the same innovative features and benefits as the QF1200 pump with one significant space-saving exemption: the pump chamber, pump drive, motor and control box are all integrated into one unit. The elimination of a separate control box gives the QF1200HT a more compact design and a smaller footprint, which is ideal for lab applications that require a smaller pump model that features a wide flow range – from 6 to 1,200 lph (1.6 to 317 gph). The versatile compact design of the QF1200HT also provides for an easy “plug and play” installation and startup.

Quattroflow pumps are utilized throughout the biopharmaceutical and biotech industries in a wide range of applications requiring gentle product handling, high containment, low pulsation, purity and cleanability. Unlike peristaltic and lobe pumps, Quattroflow quaternary pumps utilize no moving parts to provide nonslip operation, which is optimal for transferring shear-sensitive products without damage while virtually eliminating particle generation and heat degradation. In addition, Quattroflow pumps are self-priming and provide safe dry-run operation and allow for clean-in-place (CIP), steaming-in-place (SIP) and autoclave capabilities.
