Pumps, Parts & Service – Driving the INNOMAG GT

And a Grand Tour it is!Tour Highlights

Pumps, Parts & Service, Inc. (PP&S), headquartered in Charlotte NC, has been taking Flowserve’s INNOMAG demo trailer across four of the 6 states that PP&S services in the Southeast. Just winding up their tour of 16 facilities in Alabama 10 cities on March 14, PP&S is now burning rubber through North and South Carolina, bringing the unique training vehicle to engineering, production and maintenance teams, right at their own facilities.

INNOMAG Technology in Action

INNOMAG has been a major player in the sealless, non-metallic, mag-drive pump market for over 15 years. With the growing demand for corporate and environmental responsibility, INNOMAG’s zero-emission pump technology has been an effective solution for evolving petro- and organic chemical applications, as well as in a broad range of industrial and environmental applications.

The INNOMAG trailer features the TB-mag series – the first fully thrust-balanced mag-drive pump to successfully handle solids. Tour attendees are introduced to thrust balance technology via two training videos presented on the trailer’s widescreen monitors. One side of the trailer features a fully operating TB-mag to demonstrate unit performance without axial thrust bearings or secondary containment. PP&S application engineers not only demonstrate the unit, but field technical and application-specific questions. The team has several key components and accessories on hand, along with technical literature, to underscore the learning experience. The PP&S team is also prepared to support attendees who may need to specify the U-mag series for smaller and more refined applications.

Securing a tour date

PP&S will be touring the Carolinas through April 9th with availabilities starting April 1. The firm can customize a demonstration for a specific company, or provide a centrally located training to serve several teams at once. PP&S of Virginia will be grabbing the wheel from May 25 – 29 for demonstrations at facilities in that state. Contact PP&S at 800.275.4786 or CustomerCare@pp-s.com for more information or to book an event.

PP&S, Inc. was selected by Flowserve Corp. as the authorized distributor for INNOMAG equipment in Alabama, North and South Carolina and Virginia in April 2014, a few months after Flowserve acquired Innovative Mag-Drive, LLC to better serve core petrochemical, organic chemical and pharmaceutical markets.

Capturing the INNOMAG line is the second of two important “thumbs up” from Flowserve. In 2013, PP&S was one of a select few firms to achieve certification for Flowserve repair. INNOMAG pumps is included in the list of OEM equipment for which PP&S offers certified and authorized warranty service.

PP&S, Inc. is a regional distributor of rotating and process equipment serving industrial and municipal markets in NC, SC, AL, GA, VA and the Florida panhandle. PP&S also offers comprehensive design and aftermarket services to optimize equipment selection, utilization and asset management, achieving the total lowest cost of ownership for their client base. In 2015, PP&S celebrates 35 years of service.
