The 2014 PR World Awards program encompasses the world’s best in organizational performance, innovations, products and services, executives and management teams, public relations and marketing campaigns, and customer-satisfaction programs from every major industry in the world. The various winners were honored at the PR World Awards banquet on June 23 in San Francisco, CA.

PSG earned its award in the “Hybrid Team of the Year” category for the collaborative work it did with its marketing-communications partner, DeanHouston, Inc., Cincinnati, OH, on the product-launch campaign for the new Wilden^® Pro-Flo^® SHIFT Air-Operated Double-Diaphragm (AODD) Pump. The Pro-Flo SHIFT was introduced to the industrial-pump market in June 2013 by PSG from its manufacturing facility in Grand Terrace, CA.

The introduction of the Pro-Flo SHIFT pump represented a major breakthrough in energy savings and production efficiency for the AODD-pump segment. Held on June 18, 2013, the launch included a live webinar that featured several side-by-side tests with competitive brands that readily illustrated the Pro-Flo SHIFT’s superiority in optimizing air consumption while simultaneously maximizing product yields. Other components of the launch campaign included a full suite of web tools, testimonial videos and sales collateral, as well as a comprehensive publicity campaign that is still in full swing in 2014.
