Pump Solutions Group Exhibits Leading Pump Technology at CFIA Food and Beverage Equipment Show

Pump Solutions Group (PSG®), a business unit within Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV) and the global leader of positive displacement pumps and related technologies, recently promoted its leading hygienic pump technology at the CFIA Food and Beverage Equipment Show, held March 12-14 in Rennes, France.

The annual show, which features 1,300 exhibitors and boasted nearly 15,000 visitors in 2012, is held in the regions of Normandy and Brittany—widely acknowledged as the top European agro-food industry region. PSG operating companies Mouvex®, Almatec®, Quattroflow and Wilden® displayed their respective pump solutions in booths supported by distributors BMP Groupe, Laval, France, and Techniques Des Fluides (TDF) Argenteuil, France.

BMP Groupe, led by Thierry Pouillard (pictured, far left) has been a Mouvex distributor since 2007. In its booth, BMP displayed the Mouvex SLC-Series Eccentric Disc Pumps, and featured a C-Series pump in an in-line formulation demonstration system at CFIA.

TDF France promoted Wilden, Almatec and Quattroflow product lines, with a special focus on Wilden’s unique full stroke integral piston diaphragm (pictured and being held by sales engineer Arnaud Mauroy, second from the right). TDF has played a prominent role in terms of helping PSG raise the bar in extreme hygienic design.

“PSG was excited to partner with great distributors such as BMP and TDF at the CFIA Show,” said Wallace Wittkoff, Global Director, Hygienic Segment for PSG. “TDF and BMP are true innovators and leaders in the hygienic industry.”

Specific models on display at the TDF booth included:

• Wilden’s Saniflo Hygienic Series (HS) air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps

• Almatec E-Series AODD pumps

• Quattroflow QF quaternary diaphragm pumps

The Saniflo HS Series AODD pump is designed specifically to meet the strict guidelines established for sanitary process applications. The pump incorporates a straight flow-through design, the ability to handle large solids and other operational efficiencies to ensure hygienic-process success.

The E-Series Plastic AODD pump features solid-block construction with abrasion-resistant polyethylene (PE) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) materials. E-Series is available in seven sizes from 6 to 76 mm (1/4 to 3 inch) with maximum temperatures to 120°C (248°F).

The Quattroflow QF Series pumps are designed specifically for the biotech market. The single-use biologic pumps reduce downtime between two batches, save time and money, and are quick and easy to change.
