Pump Person of the Week – Mike Lassas

Empowering Pumps recently began inviting people to Nominate a Pump Professional, and today’s Pump Person of the Week is an industry professional who was nominated by one of their co-workers. Mary Dakin has nominated Mike Lassas, Vice President – Administration for Proco Products, Inc., to be our Pump Person of the Week! Isn’t it great to be recognized by a peer!

When asked what he loves most about his job, Mike responded, “My favorite part is the people in the industry – from owners to operators, engineers to contractors, the people in the pump industry are top professionals who are very proud of what they do. I’ve been in the industry for 23 years and have never had a bad day at work. I love what I do and the people I interact with every day.”

Mike is an expert when it comes to solving pump vibration and alignment issues, and can answer just about any question you have. His advice to someone new to the industry is to “Observe, Listen & Learn. Those that have been in the industry have learned by trial & error, and they have a lot to share to anyone willing to learn.”

Mike, thanks for all your hard work and being our Pump Person of the Week!
