Quattroflow™ Single- and Multiple-Use Pumps on Display at INTERPHEX 2017

Quattroflow, part of PSG®, a Dover company and a leading brand of positive displacement quaternary diaphragm pumps, has announced that it will be showcasing its Single- and Multiple-Use pumps specifically designed for biopharmaceutical applications in booth 2253 at the upcoming INTERPHEX 2017. Taking place from March 21-23 in New York, NY, USA, the INTERPHEX event brings together a wide variety of leaders from the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

At this year’s show, Quattroflow will be featuring its QF20kSU Single-Use pump that features replaceable polypropylene wetted pump chambers, which can be easily and quickly replaced as a complete unit between batches to eliminate sterilization, lower cross-product contamination risk and reduce downtime. This design also assists in optimizing speed-to-market to maximize product availability within its patent window. The QF20kSU features flow rates of 200 – 16,000 lph (53 – 4,227 gph), 51 mm (2”) connections, and autoclave and gamma irradiation capabilities.

Also on display will be the Quattroflow QF1200-HT Single- and Multiple-Use pumps featuring a high turndown ratio for extremely precise accuracy in controlling flow rates. Their versatile compact design with integrated controller provides a high performance plug- and-play solution for applications requiring precision flow control, quick batch changes and a small footprint. The QF1200-HT offers flow rates of 6 – 1,200 lph (1.6 – 317 gph) and 19 mm (3/4”) connections.

Quattroflow pumps are utilized throughout the biopharmaceutical and biotech industries in a wide range of applications requiring gentle product handling, high containment, low pulsation, purity and cleanability. Unlike peristaltic and lobe pumps, Quattroflow quaternary pumps utilize no moving parts to provide non- slip operation, which is optimal for transferring shear-sensitive products without damage while virtually eliminating particle generation and heat degradation. In addition, Quattroflow pumps are self-priming and provide safe dry-run operation and allow for clean-in-place (CIP), sterilize-in-place (SIP) and autoclave capabilities.
