Quattroflow™ Exhibiting QuattroTec Series Pumps at IFT18

Quattroflow™, part of PSG®, a Dover company and a leading brand of positive displacement quaternary diaphragm pumps, will be featuring its QuattroTec Series quaternary diaphragm pumps in booth S3883 at the upcoming Institute of Food Technologists’ 2018 IFT Annual Meeting & Food Expo (IFT18). Taking place July 15-18 in Chicago, IL, USA, IFT18 brings together the industry’s largest collection of food ingredient, equipment, processing, technology and packaging suppliers.

The QuattroTec Series is the ideal solution for the food and beverage industry because they incorporate four-piston diaphragm technology with no mechanical seals driven by an eccentric shaft and electric motor. This technology provides the safe, reliable and efficient transfer of liquids that require precise flow, gentle handling, high turndown and accurate dosing in a hermetically sealed environment, coupled with the ability of transferring clean-in-place (CIP) media with the same pump. These pumps also feature a unique seal-less design, selfpriming and dry run capabilities, compact footprint, high-suction lift and are sanitize-in-place (SIP) capable. QuattroTec pumps comply with FDA 21CFR177.

“IFT is the perfect venue to showcase our QuattroTec Series pumps because they have been specifically designed to meet the strict guidelines for hygienic applications,” said Sueli Roel Backes, Food & Beverage Market Manager for Quattroflow. “These pumps also fit perfectly with the booth theme at this year’s show – Show Me The Money – because QuattroTec pumps provide a constant and continuous dosing of ingredients, which decreases waste while increasing profits.”

The QuattroTec Series consists of three sizes – QT10, QT20 and QT30 – with maximum capacities of 180 lph (0.8 gpm) to 5,000 lph (22 gpm). QuattroTec pumps feature wetted pump chambers made of 316 stainless steel, while the valves are made of EPDM and the diaphragms of Santoprene™. Typical applications of QuattroTec pumps include food and beverage; perfumes, personal care and cosmetics; enteral nutrition; functional food; additivities and enzymes; liquid yeast and life ingredients.

Quattroflow will share a booth with sister PSG companies Wilden® and Mouvex®.
