Blackmer® Releases Ebsray® RC40 Series Regenerative Turbine Pump

Blackmer®, part of PSG®, a Dover company and a global leader in positive displacement, regenerative turbine and centrifugal pump, and reciprocating compressor technologies, is pleased to announce that its Ebsray® RC40 Series Regenerative Turbine Pump is now available for use in North America. Featuring increased flow rates and important new design enhancements, RC40 pumps are ideally suited for liquefied gas applications, including LPG, Autogas, DME, aerosols, industrial refrigerants and liquid CO2.

RC40 pumps feature a single-stage impeller providing high performance with low maintenance requirements. The C-Face motor bracket of the RC40 fits NEMA and IEC B5 and B14 motors while the unique 3-ported design with two discharge ports provides installation flexibility for lower installed cost. In addition, the RC40 optimizes its class-leading performance and efficiency by using one motor size less than it’s leading competitors.

RC40 pumps have ductile-iron pressure retaining parts (body/cover). The pump features a maximum differential pressure to 200 psi (14 bar) and maximum flow rates are 52.8 gpm (200 L/min) with motor speeds up to 3,500 rpm. RC40 pumps also feature multiple port options in one body design: ANSI, DIN and NPT. Cartridge design mechanical seals and bearings are interchangeable with RC20 and RC25 models. RC40 pumps comply with ATEX, AS1596 and UL51 codes.
