The Pump Summit Americas 2018 Conference Steering Committee encourages presentations to be made at the event on a wide variety of topics related to pumps, compressors, seals and the flow control industry. Experts from all aspects of the pump industry are invited to submit an abstract for either a paper or a detailed presentation that the Chairman and Steering Committee Members will review and consider for acceptance.
Present a Paper or Presentation
Pump experts are invited to submit an abstract for either a formal paper or a detailed PowerPoint presentation that they would like to present during the conference.
Speakers will be allocated approximately 25 minutes (this includes five minutes for questions) for their presentations. Moderators will ensure speakers keep to their allocated time and direct questions to the speaker.
If you would like to present a paper or presentation during the conference, you must submit your 300-500 word abstract outlining the topic and material to Deirdre Morgan (d.morgan@kci-world.com) by May 19th, 2017.
Discussion-Based Workshops
If you would feel more comfortable being part of a group for your presentation, you could join a panel of experts in one of our discussion-based workshops. Each workshop will be centered around one theme or topic. Discussions and the free exchange of ideas and experiences are an integral part of the conference experience. Participants are strongly encouraged to bring their ideas, experiences and pump related questions to the panel of industry experts. While panelists are not required to prepare a full formal paper, you must submit a 300-500 word abstract outlining the material you would like to cover during your portion of the workshop to Deirdre Morgan (d.morgan@kci-world.com) by May 19th, 2017.
Plenary Presentation
Plenary presentations are generally technical presentations covering practical pump applications or addressing overall issues that affect the industry. End-users are particularly encouraged to come forward to give plenary presentations. If you are interested in presenting a plenary presentation please submit your 300- 500 word abstract/outline of your presentation to Deirdre Morgan (d.morgan@kci-world.com) by May 19th, 2017.
