Introducing the World Start Efficient (WSE) reduced voltage chassis starter. This cost-effective WSE Soft Starter is suited to applications and equipment that start un-loaded, such as controlling pumps, fans, and motors.
The WSE features an intuitive parameter setup, multiple feature sets, an integrated “At Speed bypass,” and 2-wire or 3-wire Start/Stop control, all in a compact footprint. A remote keypad and IP20 terminal protection guards are available as options. Emergency full-voltage bypass is not part of this system.
Operationally the “At Speed / Run Bypass” mode takes over the motor load control from the SCR units after the motor is at full speed. This feature reduces panel heat during RUN mode and allows a more compact design.
