The Eddy Current variable speed drive system consists of a constant speed AC induction motor and an electromagnetic clutch, governed by a small controller. Dynamatic systems have been in use worldwide for over 65 years. New drive systems are available with digital control options for simplified pump-drive system programming. Existing Eddy Current clutches can be remanufactured at our factory, or retrofitted with new controls for increased monitoring capabilities. Eddy Current drives are proven for their longevity, and can outlast VFDs by as much as 6:1.
