The all-new Rival 1HP Grinder Pump from Barnes is engineered to vigorously reduce solids in residential sewage applications where basic sewage pumps continue to clog and underperform. The Rival features an axial cutting mechanism which provides superior non-clogging capability when compared to radial grinder designs. With 115V and 230V motor options and the ability to retrofit into any existing small horsepower residential grinder pump installation, the Rival is the optimal choice for those tricky applications such as lavatories, laundry tubs, floor drains and water closets! The Rival is also now available in the Barnes Pit Pro package which includes a removable FloatTREE design for easy float maintenance and a split cover to allow simplified access to the basin. The Pit Pro is designed with sidewall ribs to lock the basin in place when the concrete floor is poured and a ribbed floor to limit pump torque rotation.
