The BWC pump bridges the gap between positive displacement sanitary pumps (low flow & high pressure) and centrifugal pumps (high flow & low pressure) by uniting the best of both designs into one space saving and compact package capable of a controlled flow rate of 45 GPM and a maximum pressure of 60 PSI. BWC pumps can convey liquids containing suspended solids and slurries that are 40,000 centipoise in viscosity. The pump is fitted with a maintenance-free single mechanical seal, which has low wear and is highly resistant to extreme pressure. Manufactured with 316 stainless steel parts and FDA approved material, the design has parts that can be easily disassembled making technical service quick and simple. The versatile seepex, Inc. BWC progressive cavity pump is easily integrated into any complete turn-key system and is available with various drives and motors which can be flanged directly to the pump. This food grade pump is certified according to the 3-A Sanitary Standard of the United States to be COP (clean out of place) capable. It is also possible to CIP (clean-in-place) in most applications.
