IDEX is to invest in the construction of a new PPE manufacturing facility in Brenham, Texas.

A ground-breaking ceremony took place on Wednesday April 2, marking the start of construction on the new 30,000sq.ft facility which will be up and running by October 2014. The new factory will specialize in the manufacture of custom O-rings and other critical elastomer sealing components to the highest quality standards and with industry-leading delivery times.

High performance elastomer components for the oil & gas industry will be molded at the new site which will also include advanced clean-room facilities for manufacturing critical components for the semiconductor industry. In keeping with our UK manufacturing site, the Texas factory will have its own tool making, extrusion and inspection facilities.

This investment forms part of our continued commitment to offer our US customers the highest levels of product development, service and lead times in the procurement of advanced sealing solutions.
