PPE LLC is pleased to announce it has been awarded certificates of approval to the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/TS 29001:2010 Management Systems by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Inc. at its Brenham manufacturing site. The approvals are applicable to the design, development, manufacture and supply of moldings, seals, gaskets, extrusions and composite components in natural and synthetic materials.
PPE’s achievement to implement robust quality management systems reinforces the company’s commitment to the highest standards in operations, production and management, to ensure customers receive the very best in quality and service. PPE’s 30,000sq.ft manufacturing facility in Brenham was officially opened in February 2015 and complements the company’s existing 60,000sq.ft. manufacturing facility in the UK.

ISO/TS 29001 is a company level certification based on a technical specification published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) titled “Petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries — Sector-specific quality management systems — Requirements for product and service supply organizations”. The document was developed with cooperation from the American Petroleum Institute (API). The technical specification includes ISO 9001 in its entirety and includes specific requirements for the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries. The ISO 9001:2008 quality management standard establishes an effective quality management program for manufacturing companies. Important components of ISO 9001:2008 include customer satisfaction and establishing processes for continuous improvement.
