Janette Luviano is a multilingual international journalist with over 25 years of experience in media, including radio, TV, and print. Her extensive career in broadcast media includes roles at Univision, Telemundo, and NBCUniversal, where she served as the News Director for the Washington, DC television station. Janette has been awarded 5 New York Emmy® Awards and 13 Capital Emmy® Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

In 2023, she founded Luviano Consultant Media, a coaching and consulting firm dedicated to empowering journalists with communication and critical thinking skills, and helping newsrooms achieve their goals through innovation with a focus on DE&I, culture, and community.
Janette also holds a degree in Child Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Early Education. She has worked with children globally, particularly in China and Mexico, and volunteers with various non-profits to provide educational opportunities, counseling, and support.
