Engineer Turned Patent Holder Improving Fuel Efficiency With Natalia Galin

We’re kicking off the season with an exciting conversation between host Charli K. Matthews and the incredible Natalia Galin. Natalia is an engineer, scientist, and innovator with expertise in mathematics and physics, and she’s on a mission to reshape the future of internal combustion engines and pump technology.

As an Engineer at Galin Engine, Natalia has been working on a revolutionary swing piston engine design that eliminates the main sources of friction in traditional engines. This innovative approach removes the need for valves or camshafts and creates direct rotational motion, offering a simpler, cheaper, and more fuel-efficient alternative.

Natalia also shares insights into her cutting-edge rotary vane technologies, which hold the potential to transform the pump industry.

With a PhD in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Tasmania and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales, Natalia brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. She has published multiple research papers, holds patents for her groundbreaking work, and even developed radar technology for Antarctic exploration during her PhD.

Tune in to learn more about Natalia’s journey, her groundbreaking technologies, and how she’s shaping the future of engineering and innovation.
