Pentair Showcases Solutions for Sustainable Management of Water Resources at Singapore International Water Week

Pentair, a global leader in creating sustainable water solutions, is showcasing its advanced filtration and flow management technologies at Singapore International Water Week (SIWW), July 10-14, 2016. As a leader in helping to manage the world’s water resources, Pentair provides a global perspective and depth of expertise across industries to help its customers do more with available water, whether it’s filtering drinking water, treating wastewater for reuse or the safe return to the environment, as well as helping to manage bodies of water.

SIWW 2016 brings together the world’s top leaders in the water sector, from government, utilities, international organizations, industry and academia. A pillar event at SIWW is the Water Convention, where Pentair will join water leaders from around the globe to share solutions and practical experience to help address water challenges.

Pentair’s Vice President of Technology, Dr. Phil Rolchigo, is the co-chair of the “Desalination – Energy” session on Tuesday, July 12 at 2 P.M. Pentair engineers some of the most advanced and proven technologies for desalination to help municipalities and industry increase potable water supplies in water-scarce regions including the Middle East, India and North Africa. “As fresh water demands increase in regions with an abundance of seawater, due to both a growing population and increased manufacturing needs, innovation is being focused to help reduce the energy footprint of desalination technologies,” said Rolchigo. “Pentair’s propriety membranes, membrane housings, pumps, valves, controls and filters work together to create highly efficient, integrated solutions for a variety of customer needs.”

In addition, Pentair product experts will highlight technological innovations to address specific water challenges in poster presentations during the convention. Under the convention’s theme of “Delivering Water From Source to Tap,” Frans Knops will present “Hollow Fiber Nano-filtration Membranes for Production of Potable Water” while Ronald Van ‘t Oever will present “Helical Shaped Membrane Brings Solution to Produced Water” under the “Water for Industries” theme.

Convention attendees will also have the opportunity visit Pentair at Booth #B2-G20 to learn more about water solutions from across the company’s portfolio of brands including X-Flow, Codeline, Fairbanks Nijhuis, Jung Pumpen, Haffmans, Südmo and Everpure.
