International Exposition Company, Inc. (IEC), a Westport, Conn.-based trade show management company, announces the company’s partnership with N.Y.-based Parker PR, Inc. to promote its annual International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition (AHR Expo) and biennial Chem Show. In this new role, Parker PR will handle all media outreach and related press material development efforts on behalf of IEC, as well as provide onsite media relations support, for each of the two shows.

The AHR Expo and Chem Show draw a combined attendance number of approximately 60,000, with longstanding records of 85 (AHR Expo) and 100 (Chem Show) years in operation.

“We are proud to be the organizers of the AHR Expo and Chem Show, both of which have become valuable forums for industry to connect on new concepts, innovations and tangible business-related initiatives,” said Clay Stevens, president of International Exposition Company. “Focused on highlighting the products, technologies and ideas that continue to propel the HVACR and Chemical Process Industries forward, these shows have become important staples of both industries.”

Parker PR develops and executes marketing communications programs for a variety of companies in the international building and construction and advanced energy industries. “Realizing that the built environment plays a significant part in how the world at-large can live better, smarter and more sustainable lives, Parker PR was founded on a dedication to Telling Your Building a Better Tomorrow Story,” said Jennifer Parker, president of Parker PR. “This has included a focus in the heating, cooling and ventilation markets, on both a national and international scope, as well as extensive experience in supporting the success of our multi-industry clients in maximizing exhibition investments in the U.S. and overseas.”

According to Parker, the agency includes a staff with nearly three decades of combined experience in the HVACR industry and exhibition marketing efforts. Parker PR presently works with several notable technology innovators, system developers and product manufacturers in HVAC-related businesses.

“We are more than thrilled to be taking this new step with International Exposition Company, Inc., and look forward to forging a true partnership that will result in mutual, meaningful and long-term success,” Parker said.

“We work hard to promote our shows and let people know the many benefits of exhibiting and attending,” said Stevens. “We’re looking forward to working with Parker PR as they come alongside us and bring their talent and expertise to bear on our communication efforts.”

The 2015 Chem Show will take place November 17 to 19 at the Javits Center in New York City. Additional information on the exhibition and conference can be found by visiting chemshow.com.
