Neptune™ Chemical Pump Co., a leading manufacturer of chemical metering pumps, announced that it will be exhibiting in Booth 2719 at the 84th Annual Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC). This year’s show will be held from Oct. 17-19 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Neptune will highlight its industry-leading Series 500 Metering Pumps at this year’s WEFTEC Show. The Neptune Series 500 pumps feature a Variable Oil By-pass™ stroke adjustment that allows for better valve performance than traditional variable-linkage designs. This allows the valve checks to have extra time to seat even in heavy liquids since they are idle during the by-pass portion of the suction and discharge strokes.
Other features of the Series 500 pumps include the ability to be adjustable from 10% to 100% of capacity via micrometer dial and EZE-CLEAN™ valve cartridges that can be removed for cleaning without disturbing the piping to the pump. The pumps have capabilities to 80 gph (302 lph) simplex and 160 gph (605 lph) duplex at pressures up to 3,000 psi (210 KG/cm).
In addition to the Series 500 Metering Pumps, Neptune will also display a full array of its products, all of which have been designed to deliver the best chemical-metering results in process applications. Neptune’s metering pump designs allow automation to respond to changes in flow rate, or to maintain pH or other variables using VS drives or Electronic Stroke Control.
