30-48 Inch Pratt® RD-Series® Check Valves Now Available

By: Mueller

Mueller Water Products recently announced its Pratt RD-Series check valves are now available in 30-, 36-, 42-, and 48-inch sizes. Manufactured to comply with AWWA C508, the Pratt® RD-Series® check valve has only one moving part: a resilient disc reinforced with steel. This simple, innovative valve provides dependable, maintenance free performance, and quiet operation with its inherent non-slam construction. The large, unobstructed flow path makes the valve an excellent choice for wastewater as well as water applications. In addition, the mechanical joint end connection and 316 stainless steel cover bolt option is designed for buried installation that avoids the expense of vault construction. All sizes have a 250-psi rating and are NSF/ANSI 61 & 372 certified. Sizes 2 inch through 48 inches are available with flanged ends and 3 inches through 16 inches are available with mechanical joint ends. Additional options include: disc position indicator, external backflow device, proximity limit switch, and EPDM disc. Pratt RD-Series check valves are also available as Mueller® Model 851A Flexible Disc or Milliken® Flex Check™ check valve. For more information, please visit www.henrypratt.com.
