KSB Welcomes Three New Executives to USA Operation

KSB, the world’s most experienced supplier of pumps and pump parts, is pleased to announce new team members in the North American KSB Group.

Michael Blundell- KSBMichael Blundell has been appointed president of KSB Group’s USA operation, headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. As the current president of KSB’s Canadian subsidiary, Blundell will serve both roles in tandem, aligning the management and strategy of the two North American countries.

“This is a very exciting opportunity,” says Blundell. “KSB has a worldwide reputation for technical excellence and innovative products. I strongly believe that the company’s focus on providing customers with the best in reliable, energy-efficient pumping solutions will ensure us success in the future.”

As a native of New Zealand and graduate of the University of Portsmouth (UK) in electronic engineering, Blundell is well equipped for the role. “We are confident that Mike’s energy and commitment will help grow KSB’s presence and profile in North America” says Klaus Barmann, North American Regional Executive Officer.

Jim Hendery- KSB

Jim Hendery is taking over the role of Industry Regional Manager. A graduate of University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Hendery was a regional manager with J-Line Pump company for four years based in Los Angeles, California. During his additional 12 years of fluid-handling equipment experience, Jim worked with several leading pump and valve distributors where he gained knowledge and experience in operating, installing, and troubleshooting pumps and control valves while working as a field technician, and later as an applications and outside sales person.

Ed Buchannan- KSB

 

Ed Buchanan joins KSB as well, in his new position as Water & Waste Water Product Manager. He has a degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University, and has Professional Engineer licenses in Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, and Washington D.C. He has 14 years of experience in project management and engineering, predominantly in water and waste water, with his most recent years at Envron Civil Engineering, URS Corp., and Hanover County Department of Public Utilities. He has also worked in the industrial sector.
