This August, the role of Adam Bates, Water Market Area Director of Sales for KSB, Inc., expanded giving Adam complete responsibility for the company’s municipal water business. With the role expansion, Julie Ballard, Project Engineering Manager, and Lukas Widhalm, Application Engineering Manager, are now reporting to Adam. The announcement comes from Managing Director of KSB, Inc., Luis Maturana, who has also assumed additional accountabilities as the new Regional Executive Officer for the North America Region, a position previously held by Wolfgang Demmler. Wolfgang remains with KSB, but is returning to KSB’s Frankenthal, Germany location.

Adam Bates began his career with KSB in 2017, bringing over 11 years of Industrial and Municipal Manufacturing and Distribution experience. Before becoming the Water Market Area Director of Sales in September of 2020, he served as the Southeastern Regional Manager for KSB. Prior to KSB, Adam held positions in Sales Management / Operations and Business Development within the Industrial and Municipal Water Market in North America.
