Kei Pang Named CEO of Nidec Motor Corporation

Nidec Corporation, headquartered in Kyoto, Japan, has named Kei Pang Chief Executive Officer of Nidec Motor Corporation (NMC).  Mr. Pang, who has served NMC as President and COO since April 2012, replaces Patrick Murphy, who resigned his position in October. 

Mr. Pang has been with the company since 1984, when it was known as Emerson Motor Company.   He has worked in multiple leadership positions across a variety of businesses, including serving as President of Commercial and Industrial Motors prior to the company being acquired by Nidec Corporation in 2010.
