Our Industry Person of the Week is Richa Paliwal. Richa is a Regional Senior Manager at Grundfos.
Q: How did you get started working in your field?
Richa: I started my career in the pump world with Grundfos and fell in love with the pumps that we build. I joined in as an Applications Engineer and got to work with some of the best people in the industry and a decade later I head the water utility customer sales and support center for the Americas region.
Q: What do you love the most about your job? What are you most proud of?
Richa: I am passionate about engineering, sales and customer service and in my new role I am empowered to build a high performing team and get to build it from ground up. I am grateful for this amazing opportunity to be in a role where I can empower my team to help them grow and excel in their professional careers.
Q: What advice would you give to someone considering this line of work or new to the field?
Richa: My advice to anyone starting in this line of work is always be true to yourself and believe in yourself and your dreams and never be afraid of working hard.
