Compression Packing is a highly engineered product using many different technologies and has diverse pump applications complex installations. This new webinar series is brought to you by the Hydraulic Institute and the Fluid Sealing Association and covers three main areas in compression packing:

– Technology Basics
– Application and Installation Insights
– Regulations and Standards Information

The series will begin at 1:00pm EDT on November 5th and continue on the 12th and 19th. Webinar participants gain insights into all the different materials used in compression packing and will learn more about fiber materials, flexible graphic lubricants, and even bulk materials. This series also covers many different construction methods such as braiding extruding, die-forming crimped/spiral wound and laminating machining.

Participants will gain a full understanding of all the manufacturing methods like molding technology and die-forming technology. This series also covers how each compression packing works in diverse applications such as abrasive and high speed rotary equipment. All registered attendees earn 3 PDH credits after series completion.
