Grundfos Americas President Ansell Sims joins the Hydraulic Institute’s Board of Directors. Ansell was pleased by his election to the board, stating “I’m privileged to have been elected to the Board of Directors of HI, and look forward to participating with our incredible members and partners”. Ansell will serve three years on the board starting immediately.

The Hydraulic Institute (HI) is the largest organization associated with pump manufacturers and suppliers in North America and is the authority on everything pumps globally. The institute sets industry standards through the publication of many different materials, such as application guidebooks and online tools.

Every year the Hydraulic Institute hosts an annual conference, electing new leadership. Officers are selected to serve a one-to-two-year term, and board members are selected to serve a three-year term. The Board of Directors oversees organizational direction by creating and implementing a strategic plan, determining opportunities and threats, and establishing policies and procedures for continued operation.

Ansell will be reporting out of the Grundfos USA Headquarters and Global Water Utility Headquarters located in Brookshire, Texas.
