Danfoss, a leading manufacturer of high-efficiency electronic and mechanical components and controls for air-conditioning, heating, refrigeration, and motion control systems, has named Gregg Porter as Regional Sales Manager for the Great Lakes region – which includes North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.
In this role, Porter will be responsible for Danfoss’ portfolio of hydronic balancing and control valves, including Danfoss AB-QM pressure independent control valves.
Porter joins Danfoss with extensive background in the sales and marketing of control and temperature controls, metering, instrumentation and valves – including specific experience in pressure independent control valves. He has worked with Flow-Com Incorporated, American Maintenance Supply Company (AMSCO), and Emerson, but most recently comes from Azbil North America, Inc., where he worked with power, chemical, and steel industries.
Porter holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Eastern Illinois University.
