Fuji Electric Corp. of America expands their portfolio of low-voltage inverters

Fuji Electric Corp. of America announced today that they have expanded their portfolio of low-voltage inverters with a new HVAC Drive that will be available for shipment next month.  The latest innovation from the global electronics manufacturer features a slim, space-saving design, real-time clock, embedded BACnet, and all other functions required to independently operate fans and pumps in air-conditioning equipment.

“The development of our HVAC Drive was based on a demand from our customers around the world for energy saving inverters with superior fan control,” said Sumio Akimatsu, Fuji Electric’s Vice President of Components for the Americas.  “As with all Fuji Electric products, quality was our primary focus, and FRENIC-HVAC was designed for both UL Type 1 and Type 12 installation environments.”

The product will be formally introduced to the company’s U.S. customers at the upcoming AHR Expo  in January at New York’s Jacob Javits Center, Booth #372.  FRENIC-HVAC features an input interface that includes temperature sensors and controllers and a 4PID control function that monitors the external environments particular to air-conditioning, complete with Fuji Electric’s industry-leading 3-year warranty.

“In 1976, Fuji Electric was the first in the industry to develop general-purpose Adjustable Frequency Drives, and we led the market in creating smaller, higher performance products,” added David Schrader, Fuji Electric’s Business Development Manager for AC Drives.  “We have remained steadfast in our commitment to engineering products that offer our customers a solution to their needs, and FRENIC-HVAC is proof of our continued emphasis on quality and innovation.”
