Explore Your Plant (and Flowserve’s Products) in an Entirely New Way

By: Flowserve

Flowserve has one of the most extensive pump, valve and seal portfolios in the industry. Having all those product choices at your fingertips is great if you’re familiar with our catalog and know exactly what you need.

But those just starting in the industry or others who may have recently undertaken a new role or responsibility at their plant might not be familiar with our products – or realize what can be achieved by using them.

Flowserve has taken the guesswork out of product selection with a unique tool that features 3D models of various plant types to help users ‘see’ our capabilities in critical industrial applications.

Meet VirtualPlant.

Narrow your scope with the click of a button

VirtualPlant offers a new and innovative way to browse product information for select applications within the oil and gas, chemical, power, water and general industries.

Here’s how it works:

  • Select from one of 10 VirtualPlants (but we’re adding more all the time).
  • Using the aerial virtual plant view, select the process area that you want to explore.
  • From there, you’ll see a sector overview outlining vital information and challenges for that particular area. You can also click among the various Flowserve pumps, seals, valves and other solutions relevant to that specific process.
  • By selecting one of the products or services, you can browse product literature, images, videos, manuals and training materials.

 A variety of benefits

While VirtualPlant makes it easy to find relevant products and services by plant type or process area, the tool provides several benefits beyond product research.

Simplify the RFP process.

Your team likely spends an inordinate amount of time reviewing OEM information when creating a request for proposal (RFP). VirtualPlant simplifies the process and reduces the time required for the discovery phase; you can quickly confirm that Flowserve has expertise in the specific industry application and then identify products to focus on in your RFP.

Find important product and safety information.

If you’re already operating Flowserve pumps, valves, seals or support systems, you can use the VirtualPlants to access an ever-growing library of information – including technical bulletins, safety data, instruction manuals, training materials and other supporting content – all in one convenient location.
