Built on a history of success, the Pump/Turbo Symposia is an event you can’t afford to miss. This annual event features a world-class technical program combined with an international exhibition complete with full-size equipment and hundreds of leading companies.
The Turbomachinery and Pump Symposia (TPS) serves as the premier training and networking opportunity for professionals in both pump and turbomachinery industries. TPS 2016 will be held September 12-15, 2016 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. The annual event combines a world-class program with an international exhibit hall; last year, attracting more than 5,500 people and 350 exhibiting companies from 48 countries.
The Symposia’s world-class technical program, presented by engineers and selected by an advisory committee of industry experts, includes topics such as maintenance, design, and troubleshooting, as well as short case studies describing in-the-field problems and their real-world solutions. A cutting-edge exhibit hall hosts booths of leading companies from the oil and gas, petrochemical, power, pumping and turbomachinery industries. There, companies display full-size equipment and present advancements in technology and emerging industry trends. Finally, countless networking opportunities pervade the event, making TPS 2016 an event you can’t afford to miss.
The Symposia is organized by the Turbomachinery Laboratory, part of the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) and The Texas A&M University System. The Advisory Committee Chairman is Dr. Dara Childs, Turbomachinery Laboratory Director.
