There are many things to love about the pump industry:  The people, the products, the dedication, the innovation and much more.   At EMPOWERING PUMPS, I get to interact with some of the industry’s best and smartest people on a daily basis.

But one of my favorite parts of the pump industry is hitting the road, spending time with the industry leaders and seeing and learning about pump technology in different industries.

This weekend, EMPOWERING PUMPS will be spending time at the PROCESS EXPO Nov 3-6, which is the largest trade show in North America dedicated exclusively to the global food and beverage industry.  The show is scheduled every other year in one of my favorite cities…Chicago!

Chicago hosts the conference every other year and this year features more than 500 companies exhibitors marketing their products and services in the food and beverage industry, including the incredible power of pumps.

Food industry professionals attend PROCESS EXPO to find a wide variety of manufacturing solutions for all segments of the food processing/packaging supply chain.  Be it meat, dairy, prepared foods, bakery, beverage, cereals or any combination of these categories, attendees will find the latest innovations along with the industry experts at PROCESS EXPO.

PROCESS EXPO was recently named the nation’s fastest growing trade show by EXPO Magazine (Jan/Feb 2012), and I’m excited to see three EMPOWERING PUMPS’ partners at the meeting:  Boerger, Lutz Pumps and Mouvex/Wilden/PSG.
