The Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA) will hold its Annual Convention and Solutions Expo June 26-28, 2022, at the America’s Center in St. Louis, MO with bonus education on June 25. The theme for the 2022 Convention is “Recalibrate • Realign • Refocus.”
Discussing the theme, EASA Chairman of the Board Tim Bieber said, “EASA Conventions are a time to re-energize myself and my business. I always look forward to meeting new members, learning about their businesses and listening to what they do to grow their business. We get the most value from our association when we communicate and collaborate with each other.”
EASA’s 2022 Convention education line-up features a wide-ranging program designed to address all areas of the electromechanical sales and repair business. This year’s featured keynote speaker, John O’Leary, will kick off the convention by bringing his message “Recalibrate: 7 Choices to Live a Radically Inspired Life” challenging attendees to discover the power of taking ownership of their life and the impact it will have on the bottom line. More than 20 education sessions are available throughout the convention, including:
- Visions on IIoT for Industrial Maintenance – The promises of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) are big, but there are limiting factors that may constrain the more optimistic predictions of the impact on the industrial repair business segment.
- Electric Motor Bearing Lubrication Frequency and Quantity – Bearing failures are the most common cause of electric motor and generator failure. Service centers can help their customers obtain the optimum life of ball and roller bearings by providing good advice on bearing lubrication frequency and quantity.
- Attract & Retain Employees While Fostering a Productive Culture Across Generations – More than ever, it is important to cultivate an engaging and productive workplace that attracts and retains top talent while developing key skills. When good employees leave our workplace, it impacts profitability as we spend time, money and human resources on recruitment and onboarding.
Each day of the EASA Convention features the Solutions Expo where the industry’s leading manufacturers and service providers showcase the latest developments in electric motors, drives and controls, generators, and other equipment and services for the electromechanical industry.
“Attendance at the EASA 2022 Convention is open to all, both members and non-members,” said Linda Raynes, CAE, EASA President and CEO. “The technical program is a unique opportunity for plant engineering and maintenance personnel to learn about the latest practices to improve their operations and reduce downtime.”
