Inc. magazine today released its Class of 2015 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies and, for the fourth consecutive year, DeanHouston is included in this exclusive group of businesses, ranking No. 2529. In the three previous years, the company was ranked No. 2611, No. 2989, and No. 3120 in 2012.
DeanHouston created 34 jobs and posted revenue growth of 148 percent for the period 2011 to 2014, placing the Cincinnati-based full-service, business-to-business marketing communications firm No. 23 among the 47 Cincinnati metro-area companies on this year’s list.
Dale Dean is president and CEO of DeanHouston. “We believe growth awards of this nature serve as a validation of our value proposition, which is to immerse ourselves in our customers’ businesses, products and competition, as well as in their customers, markets, segments and applications. We also believe these awards are an acknowledgement of our employees’ tremendous skills, expertise, drive and determination to deliver an almost irrationally obsessive level of customer care when providing marketing solutions and responding to customer needs.”
“What we’re most proud of is that not many privately held companies in America make the list four consecutive years, which puts us in rarefied company,” said Greg Houston, executive vice president and chief operating officer. “Only a tiny fraction of the nation’s companies have demonstrated such remarkably consistent high growth and we’ve been able to achieve this against the stiff headwinds of a difficult economic environment.”
Established in 1988, DeanHouston is headquartered in Cincinnati, with offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Shanghai, China. In the latest Cincinnati Business Courier rankings, DeanHouston was listed as Cincinnati’s 13th largest advertising-marketing-branding agency. In June, DeanHouston ranked No. 20 on the Business Courier’s Fast 55 list, an annual awards program that recognizes the fastest-growing private companies in the 17-county region of Greater Cincinnati. It was DeanHouston’s third consecutive year on this list.
The 2015 Inc. 5000 is the most competitive crop in the list’s history. The average company on the list achieved a staggering three-year growth of 490%. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $205 billion, generating 647,000 jobs over the past three years.
