Chesterton Breaks Ground on its New Groveland Facility Expansion

The A.W. Chesterton Company today broke ground on an extensive expansion project at its Groveland MA facility. The expansion will incorporate new corporate offices as well as a state of the art customer and employee training facility and large service center covering the New England area. Once completed, this will be the first time in over 115 years that the Massachusetts employees will all be under the same roof.

The expansion project is a significant stepping stone in growing Chesterton’s knowledge based service offering centered on global issues relating to energy efficiency, emissions abatement, and natural resource usage reduction. The resources and capabilities being incorporated in the new facility will add to our existing portfolio of knowledge backed training programs and global services and will help Chesterton continue to provide the high level support customers appreciate from Chesterton, said Brian O’Donnell, President and CEO, Chesterton.

Chesterton has a rich 130 year history in the Boston MA area and this investment demonstrates their continued plans to remain a primary North American, Massachusetts based manufacturer.

A.W. Chesterton Company operates in over 100 countries around the world and is recognized as a leading international provider of knowledge backed solutions, customized programs, and hands on expert service for Rotary, Stationary, and Fluid Power equipment platforms; supported by a comprehensive line of industrial fluid sealing systems, high performance protective coatings, and specialty industrial lubrication.
