Turbomachinery engineering company releases a new version of its user-friendly and powerful conceptual design software
CFturbo, Inc., an engineering company specializing in turbomachinery design software and services, announces the new release of CFturbo, CFturbo 2025.R2. With this latest software release, the company has added several new features to its proprietary software that will enhance the conceptual design of pumps, blowers, fans, compressors, and turbines. Unlike any other Turbomachinery design software, the CFturbo code can be uniquely combined with CAE codes of third-party vendors like ANSYS, Cadence, SIEMENS PLM, and SIMERICS, or open-source simulation and optimization software.
The new release contains all-new capabilities as well as substantial improvements to existing components: In CFturbo 2025.R2 there are numerous improvements, for example: enhanced primary flow path design; flexible volute inlet definition; improved STL triangulation for exports; variable fillet radii; more flexible blade thickness distribution; airfoil blade mode for stator design; add alias names for batch file parameters; improved respectively new export formats to TCFD, Ansys Fluent, Ansys Discovery, and CONVERGE CFD.
And there will be an extended version of the CFturbo BLADERUNNER, a user-friendly GUI to prepare, mesh, set up, and postprocess CFD runs. Currently, the software is available for Simerics MP/MP+. Soon, the CFturbo BLADERUNNER will integrate other commercial CFD codes as well.
