Blackmer ® To Exhibit at NPGA Show 2016

Blackmer®, part of PSG®, a Dover company and a global leader in positive displacement and centrifugal pump, and reciprocating compressor technologies, is pleased to announce that it will be exhibiting in Booths 716 and 1530 at the National Propane Gas Association’s (NPGA) 2016 Southeastern Convention & International Propane Expo. At the show, which will be held from April 8-10 in Nashville, TN, Blackmer will be featuring its comprehensive line of pumps and compressors for the LPG/Autogas market.

Blackmer LPG Series Sliding Vane Pumps – which consist of the LG, LGL and TLGLF models – have been designed for maximum performance and reliability in a wide variety of LPG applications, including cylinder filling, motor fueling, bulk transfer in liquid terminals, vaporizers, and on bobtails and transports. Utilizing Blackmer’s unique sliding vane design, these positive displacement pumps offer the best combined characteristics of sustained high-level performance, energy efficiency, trouble-free operation and low maintenance cost. All models are UL-listed for LPG/Autogas use and feature a cavitation suppression liner that reduces the noise, vibration and wear normally caused by entrained vapors.

Also on display will be Blackmer LB Series Oil-Free Gas Compressors, which deliver high efficiency in handling LPG and are ideal for railcar unloading and vapor-recovery applications. All of the compressor’s pressure parts, including the pistons, are constructed of ductile iron, resulting in greater resistance to both mechanical and thermal shock. LB Series compressors are also equipped with high-efficiency valves, steel pistons, pressure lubricated crankcase and self-adjusting piston-rod seals. They are available with flow capacities from 7 to 125 cfm (11.9 to 212 m3/h) at working pressures up to 350 psi (24.1 bar).

Blackmer will also be showcasing its Ebsray Series Regenerative Turbine Pumps. Ebsray Series regenerative turbine pumps have been specifically designed and precision-built for high-pressure transfer in LPG and Autogas applications. The secret to the success of these pumps is the innovative impeller design, which optimizes hydraulic performance resulting in high differential pressures even at low flow rates. Ebsray pumps feature smooth, quiet operation and long pump life.

In addition, Blackmer also offers Bypass Valves for use with its LPG pumps that are designed to provide exceptionally close pressure control, even under widely varying bypass-flow conditions, resulting in unmatched protection from excessive pressure damage for the pump and system components.
