Bell & Gossett showcases commitment to sustainability at AHR Expo 2023

When it comes to innovation, Bell & Gossett has been an industry leader for over 100 years, engineering some of the most state-of-the-art and in-demand plumbing, wastewater and HVAC applications.

While sustainability has always been top-of-mind for Bell & Gossett, it will be even more prominent at the AHR Expo 2023 with a platform exclusively dedicated to hydronics as the future-proofing system of choice, as well as a renewed commitment to building a better future.

On display at AHR will be a range of energy-efficient Bell & Gossett products and system solutions that showcase how Bell & Gossett is building a better future. Not only do these solutions boast high-efficiency features that reduce energy costs and save time, but they also fulfill market demand for building equipment that reduces carbon footprint.

The e-1510 Nexus+™ featuring Hydrovar Nexus™– a new integrated motor and variable speed drive solution –is one of Bell & Gossett’s standout products this year with its ultra-efficient IE5 PM assisted synchronous reluctance motor technology that uses a sustainable permanent magnet material without environmentally damaging rare earth metals. What’s more, an average size e-1510 Nexus+ operating in typical conditions can reduce a building’s carbon footprint by up to 380 metric tons of CO2 emissions annually.

For those interested in learning about tools that offer a more connected experience, optimyze™ and Avensor digital solutions demonstrate Xylem’s commitment to bridging the gap between the industry challenges of today with adaptability for the future. Both tools feature true remote connectivity and real-time monitoring to prioritize system equipment health and enable more efficient allocation of system time and resources.

Other products on display include an expansion to McDonnell & Miller’s Low Water Cut Off (LWCO) line, including the industry’s first field-programmable New Generation Control and the first-ever connected LWCO; new high-efficiency gasketed plate heat exchangers (GPX) with “X” plates for increased performance; a fully assembled HVAC pumping system package, which offers a turnkey solution to reduce labor and costs; the new Series e-90E Smart Pump combining the industry-proven e-90 pump series with the Xylem Smart Motor; and an expansion to the e-80SC vertical in-line pump line.

In addition to future-proofed solutions and smart product enhancements, Building Better will serve as a cohesive narrative arc at the booth: each product speaks to Bell & Gossett’s commitment to meeting evolving industry challenges with value-driven, sustainable solutions that offer higher levels of connectivity and interoperability; Bell & Gossett experts will be on-site to discuss Building Better and Bell & Gossett products; and additional resources will be available that cover the platform and products in-depth.

The synergy of the Building Better platform in bringing together Xylem’s comprehensive service solutions with smart and connected features, industry experts and our commitment to sustainability all under one umbrella will make this year’s AHR Expo a particularly memorable one.
