RPM XE Motor Platform Finalist for 2016 Product of the Year

The 2016 Product of the Year award finalists have been announced by Plant Engineering Magazine and we are honored to be included in the Electric Motor & Drives category with the Baldor-Reliance RPM XE motor platform.

The annual award is voted on by the magazines digital and print subscribers highlighting the past year’s latest technologies and newest ideas across a wide variety of products and equipment. Voting is now open through December 30th, 2016 and we invite you to cast your vote. Baldor-Reliance RPM XE motor platform is a true hybrid motor which utilizes a standard induction cage combined with permanent magnets to provide up to four levels beyond NEMA Premium® efficiencies while operating across the line. When packaged as a motor & drive solution, NEMA premium or IE3 efficiency levels are achieved.

Other features:

  • Operates at true synchronous speeds due to the permanent magnets
  • Finned frame design allows for cooler operation than traditional cast iron or steel band designs
  • Standard NEMA frame sizes as well as Power Dense versions are available
