AWWA brings in new year with launch of improved website

The American Water Works Association announced today the launch of a new, streamlined website at www.awwa.org.

The redesigned website features an updated modern interface and design to improve overall functionality and navigation for AWWA members, customers and other visitors.

Other updated features include improved search capabilities that concentrate on overall site search and on AWWA’s periodicals and products in the AWWA Store. The website is also optimized for viewing on mobile phones and tablets.

“We’re pleased with the look and improved functionality of AWWA’s new site,” said AWWA CEO David LaFrance. “AWWA approached this redesign from the perspective of our users and developed new navigation and search features that make it much easier to find the valuable information water professionals need.”

AWWA has introduced dedicated microsites that focus on AWWA’s Annual Conference & Exposition and the AWWA Store. AWWA Sections also now have their own dedicated microsite to support the operational duties of Sections.

Users may contact AWWA Customer Service for more information or assistance.

Established in 1881, the American Water Works Association is the largest nonprofit, scientific and educational association dedicated to managing and treating water, the world’s most important resource. With 51,000 members, AWWA provides solutions to improve public health, protect the environment, strengthen the economy and enhance our quality of life.
