To obtain the lowest rate to attend this year’s premier professional development event for plumbing system designers and engineers, the 2017 ASPE Technical Symposium, you must register by June 30. The Technical Symposium is being held outside of the United States for the first time, in Montreal, Quebec on October 19-22, which is sure to attract a diverse international group of attendees to add to your professional network.
The cornerstone of ASPE’s Technical Symposium is the Technical Education Program, and this year it includes more than 35 sessions in five tracks:
- Fundamentals
- Fire & Life Safety
- Materials & Equipment
- The Business of Plumbing Engineering
- Designing Across Borders
Also, ASPE is pleased to announce two exciting new features of the Technical Education Program: a full-day workshop on Intermediate Plumbing Design and tours of the Jean R. Marcotte wastewater treatment plant, the largest-capacity wastewater treatment facility in the world. All aspects of the Technical Education Program offer continuing education units, and if you take full advantage of the event, you will earn 1.2 CEUs for your license and certification renewal requirements.
The popular Technical Symposium Product Show has been expanded to two days (October 19-20) this year, giving attendees and exhibitors more face time to discuss and learn about the hottest products and services in the industry.
For those industry professionals who are 35 years old or younger, we are holding an AYP Leadership Academy on Thursday, October 19 and a young professionals networking event at Rage Montreal on Friday, October 20.
All attendees who register for the full Symposium are invited to our party at the Grevin Wax Museum on Saturday, October 21.
Except for the Saturday night party, all 2017 ASPE Technical Symposium events will be held at the Hotel Bonaventure Montreal, and attendees can receive a special room rate by reserving a room through our website by September 28. We also have partnered with Air Canada to offer attendees a 15% savings on any Flex fare reservation.
Many registration options are available for both ASPE members and nonmembers, but to take advantage of the early bird savings you must register by the end of June. Go to 2017tech.aspe.org to register for the 2017 ASPE Technical Symposium now.
