On-site training is all part of AllightPrimax service

After delivering a suite of new Sulzer pumps to Kennards Pump & Power in Dandenong, the AllightSykes team in Victoria also delivered a hands-on training session. Of course, all the Sulzer submersible pumps already come with detailed operating instructions, however, we wanted to show the Kennards team how to fully leverage the complete list of features in the field.

“By booking a training session with the team of AllightSykes pumping experts, the Kennards crew could see first-hand how to effectively operate each pump in a variety of worksite applications,” said David Walters, Victoria Territory Manager for AllightSykes. “Even more,” he continued, “we were able to clearly demonstrate how the clever AquaPanel can add real value by helping the operator minimize downtime”.

AquaPanel is a very clever option that is integrated into the control cabinet of the Sulzer pump. It combines with the in-built AquaTronic feature to provide additional alarm and start/stop functions.

“AquaPanel also provides indications for other important operating parameters. In short, the AquaTronic unit – in conjunction with the AquaPanel display – integrates electronic intelligence into the pump,” explained David.

“The information is supplied in real time, and so, helps the operator to maximise dewatering performance and reduce downtime.

“The team at Kennards are always asked for detailed advice from their rental customers. So, they need to be up-to-date with the operating efficiencies of the machines in their rental fleet. By providing them with face-to-face training, advice and expert tips on their Sulzer submersible pumps, we help them to help their customers,” said David proudly.

AllightPrimaxThe Kennards Dandenong sales team is now so confident with the Sulzer product, they have requested the delivery of even more 240V units. “They told me they’re the lightest submersible pumps they’ve seen in the hire space,” explained David. In addition to more in-line pumps, they have also requested pricing on extra accessories like floats, connectors and suction adapters.
