Dewatering Pumps Support South African Coal Mining Operations

Integrated Pump Rental, an official AllightSykes distributor located in South Africa, recently supplied Qty. 8 Sykes CP 150 self-priming diesel driven pumps to a coal mining operation. The Sykes CP 150 self-priming diesel driven pump, which offers a maximum head of 60 metres and a flow rate of 172 litres per second, is capable of handling solids with a particle size of up to 77 mm.

Just one of these dewatering pumps would be capable of draining the London 2012 Olympic Swimming Pool in about 4 hours! The 8 pumps were trailer-mounted to enable mine personnel to move the units wherever they are needed on the mining site.
