ABB Robotics to hold 2015 Americas Customer Days and Open House May 20 – 22 at its Auburn Hills, Michigan facility

ABB Robotics will host its 12th annual Americas Customer Days and Friends & Family Open House May 20 – 22, 2015  at their North American robotics headquarters and training center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The event will feature over 55 live robotic and related equipment demonstrations, and 53 technical training seminars. Customer Days is targeted to benefit both those considering an initial foray into robotic automation, as well as those looking to upgrade or expand their existing robotic lines.

ABB Robotics YumiApplications to be covered include packaging, material handling, assembly, machine tending, welding and cutting, press automation, painting, automotive and transportation, and training and service.

In addition to the experiencing the demonstrations and technical seminars, attendees will have an opportunity to network directly with ABB Value Providers and colleagues from the United States and abroad—including intimate interaction with executives, top level technical experts, and product managers.  For more information and to register please visit the ABB Customer Days website.

The Friends & Family Open House concludes the event, Friday, May 22nd from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm, with ABB opening its doors to the general public and all schools, robotics teams, local university students, friends and family members.

Thursday, May 21:

  • 8:00 am– 8:45 am:  Registration opens and breakfast is served.
  • 9:00 am – 12:00 pm:  Demo floor open and Technical Seminars conducted.
  • 12:00 pm –12:45 pm:   Lunch served to all attendees.
  • 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm:  Demo floor open and Technical Seminars conducted.

Friday, May 22:

  • 8:00 – 8:45 pm:  Registration opens and breakfast is served.
  • 9:00 am – 12:00 pm:  Demo floor open and Technical Seminars conducted.
  • 12:00 – 12:45 pm:  Lunch served to all attendees.
  • 1:00 – 2:00 pm:  Demo floor open.
  • 2:00 – 5:00 pm:  Friends & Family Open House, Demo floor open, early dinner and refreshments served.
