DESCRIPTION:All aspects of our lives have been dramatically changed over the last seven months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These changes have been particularly acute for businesses and utilities in the water sector\, as they have affected revenue\, growth strategies\, workplaces\, workforce health and safety\, travel\, customer relations\, and even contracting protocols. Every aspect of our work has been abruptly impacted and this disruption is likely to continue for the foreseeable future. The Water and Wastewater Equipment Manufacturers Association (WWEMA) is extending an open invitation to everyone in the water sector to join us for our 112th Annual Meeting titled\, Navigating Unchartered Waters – Steering Your Business to Success. We have a stellar line-up of speakers who will be sharing their insights on technology trends affecting our work and how to take advantage of these rapid changes\, the state economic and fiscal picture as well as the broader economic outlook\, and legislative as well as regulatory actions that will impact the water sector into 2021 and beyond. With the election around the corner there is even more uncertainty about what the future may hold. Join us on November 5-6\, 2020 to learn what you need to know to Navigate Unchartered Waters. \nREGISTRATION DETAILS – NEW REGISTRATION PACKAGES AVAILABLE\nWe are pleased to announce that this year’s Virtual 112th Annual Meeting is open to the entire water sector to attend. Given the challenges of 2020 and the importance of educating and sharing information with the broader water community\, we have created ticket packages that will allow attendees to invite multiple staff\, customers and clients\, consulting engineering firms\, utilities\, manufacturers representatives\, manufacturers\, and others to attend this event. “Tickets” are available for single registrants ($129) and packages of up to 5 ($250) and up to 10 ($450) attendees. Our goal is to share this invitation far and wide and bring a large\, diverse attendance to the meeting to learn from an outstanding list of speakers and each other. Topics will cover the economy\, trends in technology\, state fiscal conditions\, and regulatory and legislative updates. We invite you to consider using these packages to extend personal invitations to your network. \nEVENT DETAILS\nWWEMA will be using the Whova Platform for our virtual event. This user-friendly platform will allow for enhanced networking and information sharing.
