Xylem Dedicates Education Center In Memory of Mark Campbell

Xylem, a leading global technology company focused on addressing the world’s most challenging water issues, celebrated the opening of its newly renovated training center last week.  The dedication of the Campbell Education Center honors the memory of the late Mark Campbell. Mr. Campbell was an employee of the company for 20 years and passed away last year at the age of 54.

“We are proud to honor Mark Campbell, a dear friend and employee, who served as our training manager and dedicated years of service to educating the industry,” said Chris Jamieson, vice president of global marketing, Xylem Residential and Commercial Water. “Mark made valuable contributions to our Goulds Water Technology customers and to the Seneca Falls community.”
Family, friends and colleagues attended the ceremony and paid tribute to the tireless work Campbell did to enable customers and employees to gain the knowledge and skills they needed to stay at the leading edge of pump technology. During the dedication, ceremony family members unveiled a plaque that will adorn the entrance of the Campbell Education Center.
The updated training facility in Seneca Falls, NY, includes new mobile demonstration units, network and Wi-Fi equipment, LED TVs and configurable work stations. The new environment provides instructors the flexibility to modify classes and create customized lesson plans. The enhanced training center reinforces Xylem’s commitment to industry-wide training excellence.
“The Campbell Education Center will continue to offer opportunities for customers and employees to strengthen their expertise in Goulds Water Technology applications and system solutions,” said Tom Stephan, training manager, Goulds Water Technology. “The lab upgrades will help us to serve as the industry’s leader in training for years to come.”
For more than 30 years, the Goulds Water Technology training laboratory has educated thousands of water industry professionals about the latest advancement in commercial, residential and agricultural applications.
