EnviroGear® E Series Pumps Now Available in 4” and 6” Sizes

EnviroGear® Pumps, part of PSG®, a Dover company and a global leader in internal gear pumps, is pleased to announce that it is extending its line of industry-leading E Series internal gear pumps with the availability of 4” (100 mm) and 6” (150 mm) sizes offering flows up to 500 gpm (1,893 L/min). Suitable for the most challenging and demanding transfer applications, these new E Series pumps are available in cast iron, carbon steel and stainless steel materials.

EnviroGear E Series pumps feature a revolutionary seal-less design with a patented between-the-bearing support system that effectively eliminates leaks and reduces mechanical wear, helping increase the safety of site personnel and the environment. This design also eliminates the damaging effects of cantilevered loads that are present in competitor internal gear pumps, maximizing rotor, idler and bushing life. With only one fluid chamber, E Series pumps greatly improve fluid circulation through the magnetic coupling, resulting in lower operating temperatures, longer magnetic coupling life, and more effective cleaning and flushing processes. Additionally, E Series pumps come equipped with high-strength magnetic couplings to allow for more operational flexibility, with inner magnets mounted directly to the rotor for an extremely compact design.

Thanks to a simple, seven-primary-component part design, E Series pumps feature improved pump reliability that reduces system complexity while easing maintenance and repair. This seven-primary-component part design also allows the E Series to offer a much lower investment cost when compared to competitors’ mag drive pumps. In addition, E Series pumps are also interchangeable with up to 95% of the packed, mechanically sealed and seal-less internal gear pumps in use today, with no need for piping, driver, baseplate or coupling modifications.

E Series pumps are available in 1-1/2-, 2-, 3-, 4- and 6-inch port sizes with discharge pressures up to 200 psig (13.8 bar), flow rates to 500 gpm (1,893 L/min) and maximum temperatures to 500°F (260°C). E Series pumps can handle viscosities up to 50,000 cSt.
