Over the past two years DSS Valves has been working hard to find the right global distributors for their Severe Service Knife Gate Valves. This search has culminated with the announcement of five new distributors increasing DSS Valves’ global presence across the US and Europe.
“Our goal was to align DSS Valves with distributors who exemplified severe service expertise and experience, much like we have with our Canadian distributor – CGIS,” said DSS Valves President and Co-founder Trent Runyon. “Each of these distributors have their own team of experienced engineers ready to help specify our valves for the most difficult applications you can think of. It’s an exciting time for us.”
The American distributors joining the team include TRIVACO, Nichols-Given & Associates, Eastern Industrial Supplies and Miller Valve & Controls Inc., while BAFCON Engineering Valve and Control Systems signifies DSS Valves’ first direct representation in Europe.
“BAFCON Engineering provides intelligent engineering solutions for severe service applications throughout Turkey,” commented Fatih Uzel, President at BAFCON. “We are excited to partner with DSS Valves and look forward to expanding their reach in the European market.”
Echoing this sentiment, Lawton Miller, President and Owner at Miller Valve & Controls stated “The DSS Severe Service Knife Gate Valve is simply the finest valve of its type on the market today – there is no equal. With their engineering and customer emphasis, they are a pleasure to have as a partner. Miller Valve will be growing our business with DSS for years to come.”
DSS Valves’ product line continues to grow to meet the unique demands and requirements specific to the Severe Service Valve industry. 2018 saw the introduction of new low profile designs as well as the ability to produce a bi-directional, zero leakage Severe Service Knife Gate Valve able to meet Class 900 pressure ratings.
“Their commitment to providing engineered, custom, Severe Service Knife Gate valves aligns with our focus of being solutions providers for our customers for some of the most demanding valve applications in industry,” said Benjie Pieper, President of the Kentucky based distributor TRIVACO. “We are excited to team up with DSS!”
The 2019 forecast for DSS is bright, with even more product lines expected to roll out, as well as further international representation.
